Apartment Review for Bella Sera - Phoenix, AZ

I read the other reviews and had to post my own. I agree that there were always unsupervised children running around and they can be noisy (especially in the summer at the pool), but I felt this was one negative to take when there are so many positives about this place. Personally, I thought management was great. I never once felt that they changed their approach once I signed my lease. They were always personable, understanding and all around good people and this was one of the biggest reasons I loved Bella Sera. I've lived in complexes where the management staff was rude and condescending, this was night and day. Also, compared to what you can get in most places for the same price - Bella Sera is very nice. The apartment I had was remodeled with laminate wood flooring, faux-granite style counters, nice cabinets, brushed steel faucets, etc. I wish the carpet had been burber instead of plush but small complaint. The grounds are beautiful... loved the koi ponds. Maintenance was a little slow to respond to some requests but when they did get to it they took care of it quickly and always right the first time around. My car was broken into once, but that is not the apartment's fault. Cars will get broken into no matter where you live, gated or not, and unfortunately, this complex happens to be in an area with higher car break ins - you should be aware of that going in and get renters insurance to cover your vehicle. I always felt safe walking around the complex at night though. The overall location, however, was great. Walking distance to PV mall, parks, grocery stores, pretty much anything you need. Parking is limited if you are trying to park close to your unit in an open space... but there is an abundance of guest parking in one corner of the property...it's just a longer walk to get to your place. I think any apartment is going to have a list of pros and cons... but in my opinion, Bella Sera is definitely one of the best I have lived in.
